Combined FILCON filter (RDF)

Filter for processing thick, large or very large shavings with a tendency to form balls.

It is capable of processing more aggressive shavings that would lead to various problems with other types of equipment such as breakage of the mesh or problems with removing the shavings.

Characteristics

Very suitable for multi-operation machines, allowing degrees of filtration of 30-50 microns over 90% to be achieved.

• It is a filter consisting of a link conveyor combined with a drum filter with an evacuator belt using scrapers.
• The largest and thickest shavings are cleared using the link conveyor. The rest, the finest, are processed by the drum filter and the scraper belt.

It processes large and curled shavings.

• The link conveyor also allows curled shavings to be processed.

Ability to process magnetisable and non-magnetisable chips

• By adding a bed of magnets to the bottom of the filter we improve the performance of the equipment as regards the processing of magnetisable metal particles.
